Al Ain Police Directorate has prepared to welcome the “Eid al-Adha” holidays by developing a comprehensive plan that aims to enhance safety and security for all community members, and to facilitate traffic flow, in view of the expected congestion in the city during this blessed occasion.
Brigadier General Hamad Ajlan Al Amaimi, Director of Al Ain Police Directorate, said that police and security patrols have intensified in a number of places, such as residential areas, markets, touristic areas and in front of the major shopping centers in the city, which will witness large crowds, in order to prevent any accidents that may occur and mar the joy of this blessed occasion.
Al Amaimi called on the public to be cautious and to abide by the rules of safety and security. He warned them against leaving their vehicles unlocked in front of prayer yards while performing the Eid prayers or while in front of shopping malls, lest they should be exposed to theft. He also advised them to be cautious while strolling or visiting relatives and friends.
He urged parents to ensure the safety of their children while using firecrackers and fireworks, which are usually used in such special occasions and holidays, because of the risks they involve.
On this occasion, Al Amaimi expressed his heartfelt congratulations and blessings to the Higher Leadership, UAE citizens, and the Islamic and Arab nations; praying to Allah Almighty to bestow his blessings to all The Director of Al Ain Police Directorate had visited the Zakher Police Station, and reviewed the work progress and the procedures applied to maintain security and stability in its jurisdiction. He was greeted by Lt. Colonel Abdullah Mohammed Al Shamsi, Director of the Station, in addition to a number of officers and staff. Brigadier General Al Amaimi and the accompanying committee visited the Operations room, the Search and Investigation section; the guards, discipline, security patrols and criminal investigation branches, the follow-up section and the holding cells, in addition to the offices and units of Information Security and administrative affairs.
During the visit, Brigadier General Al Amaimi listened to a detailed explanation about the procedures applied in all sections at the station; the performance results during the few past months of the current year; in addition to the services provided by the station to the public, and its initiatives to promote security and stability in this area of jurisdiction.
Concluding, Director of Al Ain Police Directorate urged the Zaker Police Station staff to further exert diligent efforts and excellence in performance; highlighting the satisfactory results achieved by Zakher Police Station during the last period. He also commended the remarkable progress in the services provided to the public; wishing all the staff further progress and success.
