Al Ain Police continues back to school campaign

Back to school campaign, being organized by the Al Ain Police Directorate in collaboration with Al Ain Educational District and Emirates Transport Foundation, continues until the end of September.

The campaign materializes the strategy of Abu Dhabi Police GHQ in order to strengthen partnerships with government and private insinuations as well as various community sectors.

The campaign includes holding field visits to schools in Al Ain to congratulate faculty, teachers and students on the start of new school year, as well as organizing seminars, workshops and distributing awareness pamphlets and gifts. Students also will have the chance to visit police stations to get acquainted with work nature and its role in promoting security.

Teams from community police section in Al Ain deliver speech to the students at the morning drill. The speech includes media awareness message about traffic accidents. It also focuses on enlightening youngsters about the risks of traffic accidents and ways to promote safe driving. It warned them of risks of driving without license, appealing to them to obey traffic rules to safeguard their lives and those of other road users.

The media campaign also calls upon students to show discipline while boarding and leaving school buses, and to cross the road from the designated places.

Efforts of parents and drivers must come together with traffic personnel to ensure safe transport of students to and fro schools, and avoid traffic accidents.

Students are also urged to maintain public property by avoiding graffiti and distorting the modern image of our cities and neighborhoods. They must abstain from destroying sign boards and radars.
