Al Ain Police Directorate called on its police stations to pursue their efforts to implement the strategy of Abu Dhabi GHQ and its vision to ensure that the Emirate of Abu Dhabi remains a society that enjoys security and safety. This can be achieved through the provision of high quality police services for citizens, residents and visitors alike.

Colonel Mohammed Suhail Al Rashidi, Deputy Director of Al Ain Police Directorate, visited the Wagan and Al Qou’ Police stations and toured a number of sections, namely; the Criminal Investigations Section; the Police Courts Section; and the Investigation Affairs Section at Al Ain Police Directorate. The tour comes in line with the inspection visits which are pursued by Al Ain Police Directorate, to enhance security and stability in society.

During his visit to Wagan Police station, Colonel Al Rashidi attended the military parade of staff then held a meeting with Major Aldhabh Mohammed Al Amiri, Acting Director of the station, and a number of officers. He also listened to a detailed briefing about the work process at the station; the efforts to develop it, as well as the most important achievements made by the station in 2012, compared with the targets and approved plans.

During the meeting, Deputy Director of Al Ain Police Directorate stressed the importance of harnessing all available human resources at the station, to develop the level of operational performance, to carry out the security functions and duties in the best way, and to provide better services to the public.

He also inspected the clients’ front desk, which provides several police services to the public; in addition to the Support Services and Criminal Investigation branches; the Community Police and Investigations branches; the Security Information, Strategic Planning, Statistics units and the holding cells.

Furthermore, Colonel Al Rashidi, accompanied by the Police Station Director and officers, inspected the Al Qou’ Police station. He reviewed work processes and met police staff and cadres, calling on them to establish a number of procedures, to provide the appropriate work environment and achieve the best level of performance.
Deputy Director of Al Ain Police Directorate and members of the inspection committee also visited the Criminal Investigation and Investigation Affairs sections at the station, to review the initiatives and procedures applied and what have been achieved to enhance the level of performance indicators and improve the quality of services provided by the Directorate to all community members.

Deputy Director of Al Ain Police Directorate was greeted upon his arrival by Major Fahd Abdullah Barak Al Dhaheri, Chief of Criminal Investigation section; Captain Mubarak Hatem Al Shamsi, Head of Investigation and Case Filing branch, a number of branch directors, officers, non-commissioned officers, individuals and staff working at the station.
