The Al Ain Police Directorate signed a Memorandum of Understanding and Strategic Partnership with Al Ain Distribution Company to support and promote strategic partnerships between the two parties, and unify joint efforts and cooperation to serve the public and clients within all categories.
The agreement was signed on behalf of the Directorate by Brigadier Hamad Ajlan Al Amimi, Director of Al Ain Police Directorate, and for Al Ain Distribution Company by Muhamad Salim bin Omair Al Shamsi, Director General of the company.
Al Amimi said: “The agreement is a result of the attention extended by the Abu Dhabi Police General Headquarters to cooperate with the aim of reaching excellence in government work.” He stressed at the same time, “The importance of the memorandum is to promote the scheme of integrated work, unifying procedures and coordinating between corporates and entities to professionally provide the best governmental services to members of society.”
Director General of Al Ain Distribution Company said that the agreement reflects the strategy of the Abu Dhabi Government Executive Council aiming to fully coordinate between departments and governmental offices to set the frameworks leading to more quality in corporate work and more excellence in providing services.
He added that this bilateral cooperation aims to achieve a strategic partnership and integration between the company and other governmental entities, corporates, and departments.
He said: “One of the main objectives of this agreement is to develop a mechanism for the implementation of an integrated system between both the parties and exchange views, experiences, information, and perform studies in order to support efforts to update procedures to be able to offer services that are more developed and advanced. This is accomplished by coordinating to set in motion joint endeavors to ensure proper and quick implementation.”
He added: “The MoU covered a wide range of issues including setting and adopting a system for crisis management and related risks, in addition to cooperating to ensure full coverage in terms of spreading water and electricity services in Al Ain.”
Concluding the signing ceremony, a meeting was held in which both sides exchanged their views on issues related to work, joint coordination, and the role of both the entities. They also exchanged commemorative shields to mark the occasion.
