Air wing carries out 10 humanitarian tasks to air
 
lift injured people and patients

 

ADP GHG, represented by Air Ambulance of Air Wing Department, has carried out recently 10 humanitarian tasks to rescue and transfer patients and injured people to different hospitals, in collaboration with the Central Operations Room.

The first task involved transfer of an Emirati patient, 35 suffering from breathing problem, from Zayed City Hospital in the Western Region to Khalifa Hospital in Abu Dhabi. In another task an Emirati young girl, 5 years old was transferred from Dalma Hospital in the Western Region to Zayed Hospital because she swallowed a metal piece. The third task was an Emirati patient, 25 years, suffering from poor health and breathing difficulty, was transferred from Saqr Hospital in RAK to Khalifa Hospital in Abu Dhabi.

In another task the air ambulance transferred an Emirati patient suffering from kidney gravels, from Mabraz Island to Zayed Military Hospital in Abu Dhabi. An Emirati patient, 48 suffering from severe brain bleeding, was transferred from Ibrahim Obeid Allah Hospital to Khalifa Hospital in Abu Dhabi. The Medical Crew on board provided necessary care to the patients on their way to the hospitals.

Air Wing carried out a number of tasks involving transfer of traffic accidents injured people to Abu Dhabi and Dubai Hospitals. One Emirati national was taken from Saqr Hospital in RAK to American Hospital in Dubai, due to a head injuries resulting from traffic accident.

A Saudi woman suffering from injuries resulting from a traffic accident was transferred from Al Marfa Hospital in the Western Region to Khalifa Hospital in Abu Dhabi. Two other persons, suffering from head and body injuries in a traffic accident at Suweihan Area, and another injured person were air lifted to Al Mafraq Hospital.

An Emirati young girl, 10 years, suffering from severe burns, was transferred from Abri Hospital in the Sultanate of Oman to al Mafraq Hospital for further treatment.
