Lt. General H.H Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minster and Minster of Interior received the integrated management system certification (IMS) obtained by the Financial Affairs Department at the Abu Dhabi Police General Directorate for Finance and Services.
Integrated Management System certification includes single implementation for three standards i.e. ISO 9001:2008 (Quality Management System), ISO 14001:2004 (Environment Management System) & OHSAS 18001:2007 (Occupational Health and Safety Management System).
Meeting yesterday with Major General Khalil Dawood Badran, Sheikh Saif stressed the importance to continue efforts to upgrade police services, thus contributing to achieving the aspirations of our higher leadership and maintaining the remarkable position attained by Abu Dhabi Police on both regional and international arenas.
Obtaining this certification is a huge achievement, thanks to the support and care provided by our police leaders, emphasized Badran, adding this reflects the thorough vision to keep up with excellence and continuous achievements of Abu Dhabi police.
He congratulated all the personnel at the Directorate, calling them to increase their efforts in order to preserve this achievement.
Abu Dhabi Police is one of the first government institutions to obtain this certificate.
