Abu Dhabi community police conducts ‘welcome school’ event

In collaboration with the Community Service Department at Abu Dhabi Municipality and the strategic partners, the Community Police Department of Abu Dhabi Police conducted an event titled ‘welcome to school’ which was organized by the municipality at Al Bahieya Park.

Community police presented a documentary about its goals and social activities, as well as its role in crime prevention and community awareness.

These participations coincided with the goals which the Community police seeks to achieve through supporting relationships with partners and community members, said head of community relations branch, Captain Majid Al Tameemi.

Health Authority in Abu Dhabi also presented an awareness cartoon and some lectures on healthy food and public health.

Civil defence took part in the event by presenting a workshop on fire fighting and distributed a collection of educational booklets.

The Traffic and Patrols Directorate of Abu Dhabi Police enlightened students and parents about the importance of abiding by traffic regulations to avoid any risks.
 
Al Bahieya Equestrian Club offered information about horses and endurance races.
