Abu Dhabi Traffic Department announces Ramadan Work Timings

 

Colonel Hamad Adeel Al Shamsi, Director of Traffic and patrols Department at Abu Dhabi Police urges motorists to comply with traffic rules and regulations, during the Holly Month of Ramadan and avoid any accidents.

The Department has taken measures to ensure the smooth flow of traffic

During Ramadan, including banning heavy trucks from plying at peak hours from 7:00 am to 9:00 am and in the after noon from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm. He called upon the heavy trucks drivers to adhere to these timings and avoid any action against them.

The working hours of Violations Sections at Abu Dhabi, Al Ain and the Western Region will be changed during the Holly Month of Ramadan, to From 8:00 am to 2:00 pm Evening Period From 8:00 pm to 12:00 midnight.

He congratulated all road users on the advent of the Holly Month of Ramadan and asked them to follow traffic directions, particularly near shopping and commercial centers. Abu Dhabi Traffic Department has made a comprehensive plan to intensify traffic patrols on internal roads and highways in Abu Dhabi Emirate. He added.
