The Punitive and Correctional Institutions Department at the Abu Dhabi Police General Headquarters defined visiting hours for inmates during the days of Eid Al-Adha starting from Friday, October 26th until Monday, October 29th, in the Department’s centers of Al Wathba and Al Ain.
Visiting hours for inmates will be as following: morning from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM and evening from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM except for Monday when the time it is set from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
On Friday, visits for Al Ain and Al Wathba Correctional Institutions will be specified for foreign male visitors; Saturday will be specified for Arab male visitors, while Sunday and Monday will be specified for female visitors.
Visiting hours for inmates of Al Mafraq Juveniles Care Center were defined as following: from Friday to Thursday (26-29 October), morning from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM, evening from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
Juveniles Care Center
On Friday, visits for Al Mafraq Juveniles Care Center inmates will be specified for foreign male visitors; Saturday and Sunday will be specified for Arab male visitors, while Monday will be specified for female visitors.
Colonel Matar Mohammed Saif Al Zaabi, Director of Abu Dhabi Police Punitive and Correctional Institutions Department extended his congratulations to the higher leadership, the police leadership, as well as to citizens and residents alike on the occasion of Eid Al-Adha.
Al Zaabi emphasized his keenness to allow inmates to communicate with their families and parents in convenient times for both parties, to achieve the desired goal, in line with the joy of Eid Al-Adha. He added that the department is keen to provide the appropriate atmosphere for both visitors and inmates, as part of the initiative "Your Safety" launched by the Abu Dhabi Police, noting that visitors will be transferred from the gate to the visiting area, in eco-friendly electric powered cars.
