Four UAE Nationals and one British citizen were transferred by air by the medical teams of Abu Dhabi Police Air Wing Department to hospitals to receive the necessary health care following five separate accidents related to health emergencies, road accidents, and a burning incident. This air medical transfer stands true to the humanitarian aid provided by the Department for the well-being of society.
The air ambulance aircraft of the Abu Dhabi Police Air Wing Department transported a three-year old Emirati girl who had fallen victim to a burning accident from Ghayathi Hospital to Mafraq Hospital in Abu Dhabi.
The Police Operations Room had received an emergency report that a young Emirati girl sustained fourth-degree burns, was in grave danger, and had to be urgently transferred. The air ambulance plane took off towards Ghayathi Hospital; the child was properly looked after to stabilize her health condition while en route to the hospital where she received the necessary treatment.
Similarly, the air ambulance plane transferred a 16-year-old Emirati boy from Tawam Hospital in Al Ain to Khalifa Hospital in Abu Dhabi. The boy had fallen from his motorcycle and was seriously injured.
The air ambulance plane also transported a 45-year-old Emirati from Sweihan Clinic to Tawam Hospital in Al Ain, following a car accident which left him unconscious, with a broken leg and many bruises. He was found in a medically unstable condition and was tended to by the medical team until he reached the hospital.
A 57-year-old Emirati was also transferred by air from Delma Island Hospital to Khalifa Hospital in Abu Dhabi, after the Operations Room reported that a man in deteriorating health, suffering from organ failure and acute anemia, needed immediate transfer. The medical team continued care during the transfer process.
The air ambulance aircraft also moved a 46-year-old British man who suffered a severe cardiac attack from Liwa Hospital to Madinat Zayed Hospital in Western Region for further medical treatment.
