The General Headquarters of Abu Dhabi Police announced organizing the contest of photography for amateurs and professionals, (Express your creativity); to encourage creativity in the field of photography.
The Contest’s committee begins receiving entries effective Wednesday, February 15 until March 31.
Lt. Col. Saeed Al Khajah, Deputy Director of Tactical Affairs and Security Media at the Secretariat of the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior, said the contest encourages amateurs and professionals in the field of photography and enable them to highlight the civilized image of the country and promote the concept of community partnership in such activity, and enhance Abu Dhabi Police interaction with the community.
According to the conditions of the contest, the photos to be submitted as entry should be printed or copied on CDs, with participants being allowed to submit more than one entry. In addition, all the photos received will not be returned.
No texts should be written on the photos, such as time and date of photography and signature of the photographer. The Participant’s name, address and telephone number should be written on the back of the photo or attached to the e-mail.
Color or black and white photos are accepted and both individuals and institutions may participate in the contest.
Abu Dhabi Police reserves the right to use the photos in the manner it deems appropriate, and without reference to their respective owners.
Entries may be sent by e-mail adp.Contests@ securitymedia.ae or by hand, by mail at the following address: Abu Dhabi Police GHQ _ Security Media P.O Box - 764 Abu Dhabi.
Entries sent by e-mail should in TIFF/FPG format and is not less than 5MP, with higher resolution: dpi 300.
The first three winners will be receiving a cash prize of AED 30.000, 20.000 and 10.000 respectively, Al Khajah noted.
Themes shall include old and extraordinary photos featuring police performance, services and development of Abu Dhabi Police, humanitarian situations and prominent police leaders.
