The Abu Dhabi Police GHQ has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Etihad Airways Company, according to which the company will offer discount on their tickets to the employees of the ministry of interior and Abu Dhabi police.
The agreement was singed by Major General Khalil Dawood Badran, director-general of Abu Dhabi Police Finance and Services, and Harib Al Muhairi, Etihad Vice President of UAE Sales.
The agreement is made following the directives of Lt. General H.H Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minster and Minster of Interior to establish a joint cooperation and coordination with companies and institutions in the government and private sectors to further uplift partnership to the highest levels, said Major General Badran.
Under the MoU, the two sides have agreed to create a joint coordinative and cooperative framework which ensures delivery of advanced reservations and ticketing services for the police employees and their families.
They have also agreed that the Etihad airways shall treat passengers in accordance with the high quality hospitality standards, and that discounts on fairs only enjoyed by the eligible parties.
By virtue of the agreement, the two sides have also agreed that the Etihad Airways becomes the favorite airliner for the Ministry of Interior and Abu Dhabi Police.
Signing of the agreement comes within the constant endeavors made by the Etihad airways to enhance its service levels in collaboration with Abu Dhabi Police in all joint domains, said Harib Al Muhairi, stressing the Etihad Airways full commitment to the agreement.
