Abu Dhabi Police GHQ has signed a memorandum of understanding with the Abu Dhabi Sewerage Services Company (ADSSC) under which the two sides will coordinate, cooperate and exchange information, strategies and initiatives, as well as develop and expedite procedures and enhance performance.
The agreement was signed by Major General Khalil Dawood Badran, director general of Finance and Services of Abu Dhabi Police, and Alan Thomson, ADSSC Managing Director, in presence of a number of officials representing the two sides.
Badran said the agreement comes in pursuance with the directives given by Lt. General H.H Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minster and Minster of Interior to develop joint coordination and cooperation with government and private sector institutions to further achieve the anticipated aspirations and goals.
According to the agreement, he added, a technical committee shall be formed from the two sides to study the mechanism of simplifying producers and transactions between the two sides, noting this will enhance government performance and keep up with developments in issues of service provision to the employees of both agencies.
The agreement also focuses on enhancing cooperation in exchange of information, setting up, and implementing of a joint work plan to put the articles of the agreement into practice. Major-General Badran, pointed out.
For his part, ADSSC Managing Director, Alan Thomson said: “signing of the agreement comes within the endeavors pursued by ADSSC to develop its services in coordination with Abu Dhabi Police GHQ in aspects of common interest.
He reiterated ADSSC commitment to the agreement, indicating that both sides are keen to develop cooperation in various domains especially in information sharing and simplifying of procedures.
