Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research praised the efforts of the Ministry of Interior, headed by Lt. General HH Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, in the field of education and continuous encouragement to employees of the police and the Ministry of the Interior to complete their higher education ; which contributes significantly to raising the professional competence in order to achieve security and safety for citizens and residents both alike.
He praised the efforts of the Abu Dhabi Police in support of employment education and care, and appreciated its leading role in promoting security and stability, saying that the Abu Dhabi Police has become one of the finest security agencies in the world, thanks to the success of the wise policy pursued by the State
Abu Dhabi Police GHQ presented memorial shield to Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan at the end of his tour at the exhibition.
Brigadier Obeid Salem Al Kutbi, Director of Selection and Recruitment at the Abu Dhabi Police General Headquarters announced that the stall of Abu Dhabi police, in the first day of the Show, has received 613 applications for employment, including 313 applications from men, and 300 applications from men.
He appreciated the huge presence of Emarati nationals at the Show which allows the police to attract interested qualified Emarati nationals in accordance with its employment needs.
The participation of Abu Dhabi Police in career fairs is an opportunity to learn about the academic and practical skills acquired by graduates in various disciplines, said Al Kutbi, adding that it also opens the door for them to know the nature of the work in Abu Dhabi Police, both in the of military and civilian jobs.

Taking place at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC) until 2 February, Tawdheef features more than 100 government and private organizations looking to meet with 26,116 pre-registered job-seekers and make a quick start towards their goals of hitting Emiratisation targets for 2012.
