Abu Dhabi Police organizes internationl conference on crime scene

Under the patronage of Lt. Col HH Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deptuy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, Abu Dhabi Police, in cooperation with FSSco will hold the first international crime scene conference.

 

The three-day event under the theme of “ crime scene invesgitations, the way to justice”,will be held at the Intercontinental Hotel in Abu Dhabi. 
On the sidelines of the conference, many workshops will be organized at the crime sence training villlage.

Lt. Col. Salem Khalifa Al Direi, Director of Crime Scene Department said, “ the conference furnishes an opportunity to the participants to  keep updated with the latest developments in crime scene investigations, through the  papers which will be delivered by prominant experts in criminal sciences and crime scene.

The particpants will be informed of  UAE experience and continued efforts to establish a DNA database, he added, affirming that the conference will strengthen cooperation and expertise -sharing with the countries and international criminal instituations in training areas.

 1st Lt. Abdul Aziz Al Qahtani, coordinator of the conference and member of the organizing committee said that all the participants are partners of Abu Dhabi Police.

He pointed out that officers and experts from Abu Dhabi Police will take part by delivering specialized papers on DNA, development of crime scene investigations and examination , information management, and training porcess for crime scene examiners.
