Abu Dhabi Police honors 138 retired officers
Major General Staff Obeid Al Hiri Salim Al Kutbi, Deputy Commander General of Abu Dhabi Police honored 138 retired police officers included in the ministerial decree Number 675 for the year 2010.
The ceremony, held at the police officers club in Abu Dhabi, was attended by Major General Ahmed Nasser Al Raisi, Director General of Police Operations, Brigadier Frais Khalifa Al Farsi, and Director General of Guards and Special Tasks, Brigadier Dr. Saif Bu Dhefairah Al Ameri, Director General of Security and Ports Affairs, and a number of senior police officers.
Abu Dhabi Police GHQ deeply believes in the value of human element in achieving goals and aspirations, and highly values every sincere effort and distinguished work, said Al Kutbi.
Retirement is not the end of the journey; it is a start for a fleshly new stage in the service of our country, added Al Kutbi in a speech he delivered on this occasion.
He referred to the sincere efforts exerted by the retired officers and lauded their efficiency and diligence during their service.
He said our higher leadership has greatly contributed to the establishment of security and stability pillars throughout the stages of development witnessed by the UAE since its foundation.
Al Kutbi mentioned the prominent position the UAE has achieved globally and internationally thanks to the efforts of sincere men who spend their live, one generation after another, serving the country, and sparing no effort in assuming the noblest humanitarian mission.
Major general Al Kutbi presented appreciation certificates and gifts to the retired police officers at the end of the ceremony.
