Abu Dhabi Police gears up for Formula 1 Competition
ADP gears up its preparations for providing fool proof security for Formula 1 competition which will take place next October at Yas Island in Abu Dhabi.
The meeting was attended by Major General (S) Obeid Al Hiri Salim Al Kitbi, D. C-in-C of ADP and Chairman of the Higher Security Committee of the Race, Major General Ahmed Nasser Al Raisi, D. G. of C. Ops. And Chairman of Organizing Committee, Mr. Terry Joan, Director of Security and Protocols, Mr. Ronan Morgan, Member of Sports Committee. Both the latter represent the International association of motor Sports.
They discussed security and safety arrangements, and traffic preparations for the race. The event will be held during the period from 30 October – 1st November 2009.
