Abu Dhabi Police delegation visit Los Angles Police
 

A delegation from the Abu Dhabi Police led by Air Commodore Ali Al Mazrouei, Director of the Abu Dhabi Police Air Wing Department, has recently paid a visit to Los Angeles Police, USA, to review the best international practices and exchange of expertise.

The Abu Dhabi Police delegation was received by Leroy David Lee Baca, Sheriff of Los Angeles County, California, and a group of senior police officers.

The visit included a training course for the tactical air officers of Abu Dhabi Air Wing Police so that they could reinforce their knowledge and tactical experiences in flying field.

The course which covered theoretical teaching lessons and tactics used in ground and air operations has spanned over one week.

They Abu Dhabi pilots joined 15 hour-long practical flying for a week more as part of real traffic and criminal air patrols.

The delegation was briefed on the law enforcement operations in Los Angeles police station and toured its specialized units like the Air Wing office, SWAT (Special Weapons and Tactics) office, Emergency Operations office, the head Radio Broadcasting Centre along with Los Angeles County prison.
