Abu Dhabi Police accomplish electronic correspondence
system with government sector
Abu Dhabi Police, through Al Rowad Information Technology Solutions, accomplished the electronic correspondence system which allows effective communication with a number of government and semi government bodies. Official correspondence can be sent electronically to these bodies if they apply the system or given access by Abu Dhabi Police.
Chief Executive Officer of the company, Dr. Mohammed Ahmed Radaidah, said that the parentage of UAE nationals working in the project is 13% and expected to increase up to 20% during the current year.
He added that Abu Dhabi Police developed, through Al Rowad, a comprehensive and integrated system for electronic correspondence covering all types of official letters and memos, and electronic management of the committees’ meetings and minutes.
According to Al Radaidah, the system has been implemented at the Abu Dhabi Police General Headquarters, Directorate General of Naturalization and Residency in Abu Dhabi, and the Directorate General of Civil Defence.
Al Radaidah went on saying that the new system ensures that work is quickly accomplished with a high quality and less mistakes. It helps retrieve data quickly, monitor and evaluate performance and provide a paper-free environment. The system also helps prevent forgery and data leaks.
