The Abu Dhabi Police Finance and Services General Department organized a seminar about international professional financial certificates and how to obtain them. The seminar was held at the Forensic Evidences Department in the Abu Dhabi General Headquarters in collaboration with an international company specialized in professional training.

The seminar is in line with the police commandment’s instructions to train and develop the staffs’ skills. The project aims to elevate the level of performance among employees by sending them to complete their language studies, bachelor degrees, masters, and PhD’s. The project included contacting the most experienced companies to rehabilitate the national staff for a period of at least six months.

Colonel Ahmad Saeed Al Badi, Director of Financial Affairs Department, started the seminar with a speech saying, “Scientific development and building staff competence and skills is a continuous process that requires redoubling everyone’s efforts in the Abu Dhabi Police to shape their skills by acquiring scientific degrees and professional experience.”

He highlighted the importance of knowledge and keeping pace with the latest developments to improve work mechanisms and the benefit from international experiences that contribute to elevating the level of performance reaching the desired goals.

Al Badi said: “The Abu Dhabi Police continuously seeks to develop and enhance scientific certificates of its personnel, as well as training them and improving their scientific levels to stay current with the international developments to positively reflect on the work environment.”

He added: “Organizing this seminar is in line with the vision and strategy of the police general commandment. The Finance and Services General Department makes sure to develop the skills and competence of its staff. Therefore, an international company was invited to explain the importance of the international certificates and how to acquire them.”

Al Badi urged the staff in the Finance Department to increase their efforts to develop their competence and work harder to acquire special international certificates in finance, in order for this to reflect positively on their work.

The seminar was attended by a number of division managers in the Finance Affairs Department along with the staff. The certificates that were presented are: CIMA, ACCA Diplomat in IFRS, CIA, CPA, FIA, Diploma in Accounting and Business. The seminar shed light on the importance of these certificates in professional life, and elaborated upon the academic fields for personnel willing to join financial affairs, so that they can apply for advanced academic studies to develop their personal skills to enhance how they deliver services to the public.
