ADP reviews modern crime scene trainings in UK
A delegation from the Crime Scene Department of the Directorate General of Security and Ports Affairs at ADP reviewed the latest global technologies in use for crime scene training, investigations and reconstruction during the delegation visit to a number of specialized companies in UK.
Major Salim Khalifa Al Darei, Director of Crime Scene Department and Head of the visiting Delegation said “The aim of the visit is to review the modern technologies that can be used in crime scene areas within the framework of training processes modernization to reach global standards by providing the latest training capabilities for crime scene cadres”.
“The delegation which comprises 1st Lt. Abdul Rahman Al Tamimi and Expert James Gallaher paid a visit to one of the specialized companies in training technologies which can be used in several training areas, including policing area”, added Al Darei.
The delegation watched a demonstration of modern global technologies in use in different training processes. He company name is “Blue Room”. The technologies provided by this company can be used in crime reconstruction and save training time by 30%.
The capabilities which Blue Room provides can be, by use of simulation, changed to different environments including crime scene, where the trainees can experience the atmosphere of real crime scene. It can take up to 61 trainees. Such facilities are not available in the technologies currently in use. This makes the technologies provided by Blue Room Company as the best option for training in crime scene and policing areas.
