ADP implements “Electronic Training Gate” next year
ADP GHQ intends to implement a phased new project titled “Electronic Training Gate” within the training plan of 2011.
Major Fadhil Mohammad Ali Al Ghafli, Head of Support Services Coordination Section at ADP Training Department and project Manager has announced during the opening of an introductory workshop on the occasion of the completion of the phase one of the project, at the Officers’ Club in Abu Dhabi. A number of houses of expertise and lecturers were present during the workshop.
Major Al Ghafli said “The launch of Electronic Training Gate is part of ADP GHQ strategy regarding the ideal use of human resources and maximum use of information technology and electronic systems. The project has been submitted to Major General Mohammad bin al Awadhi Al Minhali, Director General of Human Resources who has approved it to achieve quality and excellence”.
A working party has been formed to deal with the project, which has been divided into three phases. Phase one was completed. It was concerned with identification of site services and its requirements, including the monitors, technical direction and entering of lecturers and experts’ data and their CVs would be added later in collaboration with one of old institutions”, added Al Ghafli.
Phase two, which is under execution at present, is expected to be completed by the end of next September. This Phase deals with courses management, annual plan of training, classification of courses according to their type – security, administrative or technical -, evaluation of lecturers and experts in accordance with global evaluation system, bases on Kirk Patrick Theory”, added Al Ghafli.
Then we will move to phase three of the project, which is the link with the Department of Financial Affairs at ADP GHQ”, added Al Ghafli.
At the end of the workshop the questions and enquiries of the audience were answered.
