ADP Ramadan Championships kick off at Peripheral Areas and Western Region
The 2nd Football Ramadan Tournament activities, organized by ADP GHQ Directorate of Peripheral Areas Police have kicked off under the patronage of Colonel Sheikh Mohammad bin Tahnoon Al Nahyan, Director of the Peripheral Areas Police Directorate. The event was also attended by Colonel Rashid Mubarak Al Mismari, Deputy Director of Peripheral Areas Police Directorate for Stations Affairs, Sheikh Ahmed bin Nasser bin Zayed Al Nahyan and large number of the game fans at Bani Yass Club Stadium.
The opening match was won by Bani Yass Police Station team who defeated Abu Dhabi Nationalization Council team 2-1. In then second match the capital Police Directorate defeated Security Information Department team 5-2. Emergency and Public Safety Department team defeated Al Rahba Police Station team 4-2.
In the same context Lt. Colonel Obeid Khalfan Al Mazroui, Deputy Director for Administrative and Financial Affairs at the Western region Police Directorate witnessed the opening ceremony of the 3rd Ramadan Football Tournament of the Directorate.
9 teams would participate in the tournament. They include Zayed City Police Station, Finance and Services Section, Investigations Section, IT Section, Financial Affairs Section, Special Tasks Section; Drugs control Section, Deprtment Security and Traffic Section teams.
The ceremony was attende3d by a number of officers, NCOs and other ranks and fans from the Western region Police Directorate.
