The Abu Dhabi Police General Directorate signed a strategic cooperation agreement with the Dubai Corporation for Ambulance Services, a leading organization in the region, to provide rescue services. The event was held on the sideline of International Security and National Resilience (ISNR 2012) at Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Center.
The agreement was signed by Major General Ahmad Nasser Al Raisi, Director General of Central Operation in Abu Dhabi Police, and Khalifa Hasan Al Darai, Executive Officer of the Dubai Corporation for Ambulance Services.
The agreement is in line with the Police Commandment instructions to preserve lives and assets, provide protection and safety to the citizens and residents in the country, and to enhance cooperation and strategic partnership between both parties. The two departments then will fulfill their strategic targets to provide qualified services to their clients.
The agreement aims to accomplish a number of goals such as exchanging information, expertise, and data and human resources between the two departments. In addition to facilitating the improvement of initiatives, enhancing the use of technology to provide ambulance services, developing a unified manual for technical specifications of ambulances, as well as field work systems in case of emergency and crisis. The agreement also calls for the exchange of applications, expertise and applied practices in the administrative process.
The cooperation agreement declares hiring resources from the two departments to provide health care to the needy in accordance with the highest standards, as well as establishing the partner relationship in agreed fields, participating in conferences and exhibitions to promote services provided by both sides and unify efforts in organizing awareness programs.
The ceremony was attended by Colonel Anwar Al Malla, Director of Telecommunication and Information Technology Department; Lt. Colonel Mohammad Al Ameri, Deputy Director of Rescue Management; Major Batti Al Mazroui, Head of Ambulance Department; and a number of officers in Central Operation General Directorate in Abu Dhabi Police and directors of departments in Dubai Corporation for Ambulance Services.
