A recreational day at Kids Park on the occasion of World Child day
Kids park in Abu Dhabi will organize a recreational programme for children tomorrow, Saturday, to mark the Universal Children' Day, (20 November) every year.
The celebrations will include a number of activities and recreational programmes for children aged between 6 to 10 years, who can enter the park free of charge.
Kids Park is the first park containing animals in Abu Dhabi City. It is a tourist destination for Abu Dhabi visitors and residents. Its total area is 27,000 square meter.
Owner of the project, Nasser La Khreibani Al Nuaimi said "The Park serves the residents of the area and its surrounding neighborhoods, which do not have such facility. It is characterized by its cheap prices and its work mechanism, where children come close to the animals not like other traditional zoos. The Park aims to creat a friendly atmosphere between children and animals through the open shows of tame animals, such as camels, birds, gazelles, turtles etc.".
"The Park includes animals from all over the world and the local environment. It has a theatre, movie hall, lecture room, restaurant, prayer place and clinic. It acquaints children and their families with wild animals, sea animals, reptiles, birds and butterflies. It includes more than100 types of tamed animals from different environments and regions, fishes, reptiles, monkeys, dogs, wild animals and birds.
