A MOU with ADNOC to provide ADP with Strategic Fuel Reserve



HH Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan Deputy prime Minister and Minister of Interior has witnessed the signing ceremony of a memorandum of Understanding between Abu Dhabi Police and Abu Dhabi National Oil Distribution Company (ADNOC), regarding providing ADP with strategic fuel reserve for ADP vehicles, plants, equipments and helicopters.

The MOU which its signing ceremony is witnessed also by Mr. Yusuf bin Omeir, Secretary General of the Supreme Petroleum Council and CEO of ADNOC, enhances the joint cooperation between the two parties.

The signing ceremony was attended by Major General Nasser La Khreibani Al Nuaimi, Secretary General of HH's Office, Major General Ahmed Nasser Al Risi, Director General of Central Operations at ADP and a number of officers.

Major General Khaleel Dawood Badran, Director General of Finance and Services at ADP, signed the MOU on behalf of ADP and Mr. Abdullah Salim Al Dhahiri, General Manager of Abu Dhabi Oil Company, signed for ADNOC.

According to Major General Badran, the signing of the MOU is in response to the directives of HH Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan Deputy prime Minister and Minister of Interior, which calls for promotion of coordination and cooperation with government and private organizations. In accordance with the MOU ADNOC will provide ADP GHQ requirements of petroleum products and oils needed for ADP plants, equipments, generators and helicopters in all areas. This reserve of supplies is necessary specially in cases of emergencies and disasters.
