The Al Ain PoliceOfficersClub organized a health program in collaborationwithOasis Hospitalthatincludesmany medical eventsin order to spread the healthcultureamongpolice staff and those affiliated with the police.

The program coveredcomprehensivetestsfor measuringblood pressure, diabetes, lung performance, andthebody mass index (BMI)underthesupervisionofa medical staff.

ColonelMohammed SuhailAlRashidi, Deputy Director of Al Ain PoliceDirectorate, launched the program’sactivities, touredthe participating hospital stands,andcarried outanumberofmedical examinations. He stressed the importance of organizingsuch medical eventsas theyspread health awarenessamong the Police General Headquarters’ staff.

At the end of his tour, Al Rashidihonored the Oasis Hospitalmanagement with a commemorative shield and expressed the Al Ain PoliceOfficersClub’s thankfulnessfortheircontributiontoraisinghealthawarenessamongthe staff.

For his part, Colonel HarebKhamis Al Khaili, Deputy Head of Clubs Department at Abu Dhabi Police GHQ, indicated that thisinitiativeisan embodiment oftheAbu Dhabi Police General Headquarters commitmentto disseminatethe culture of healthand proper nutritiontoitsstaff.

Al Khaili pointedoutthat the clubseeks to strengthen partnerships withcommunityorganizationsin order to exchangeexperiencesandtake advantage of whattheseinstitutionsoffer as beneficial services toboth parties,stressingthe continuity of cooperationwithOasisHospitalinthecomingyears.

Thetwo-day programsaw a high number of visitors from the Al Ain Policestaff, who conducted avarietyofmedicaltestsandpraised theeventorganizersacknowledging this event’s impact ontheirhealth.
