46 officers decorated with long and sincere service medals 

 

Major General (S) Obeid Al Hiri Salim Al Kitbi, Deputy Commander-in-chief of Abu Dhabi Police, decorated on Sunday at the Department of Forensic Evidence Conference Room 46 officers of the rank of Lt. Colonel and Major from different Departments, with Sincere Service and Long Service Medals, as stipulated in the Ministerial Decision number 146 of 2010 issued by HH Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior.

Al Kitbi also honored 6 distinguished officers and personnel as part of Exemplary Employee Award, The ceremony was attended by Major General Khaleel Dawood Badran, Director General of Finance and Services, Major General Mohammad bin Al Awadhi Al Minhali, Director general of Human Resources and Acting Director General of Policing Operations, Brigadier Faris Khalifa Al Farsi, Director General of Security Guard and Special Tasks and a number of officers.

Al Kitbi congratulated the honored officers affirming the attention that the Higher Leadership pays to human cadre by awarding those medals for their loyal efforts in work and performance of tasks and duties.

He urged them to work very hard to develop and improve their skills through training and experiences of those who joined the service before them.

He said "Success means continuous efforts in all areas, development of abilities and delivery of best services, in order to boost the priorities of ADP GHQ strategy".

"What is important not the time they have spent in service, but what efforts they have made in their work and in achieving excellence which has become one of ADP GHQ characteristics", added Al Kitbi.
