260 MoI personnel leave for Umra
A special aircraft carrying 260 of MoI staff and their families took off Abu Dhabi International Airport, on Thursday, to Saudi Arabia to perform Ramadan Umra rituals.
The cost of the trip has been covered by HH General Sheikh Mohammad bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of UAE Armed Forces. The formalities of the event have been followed up by HH Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior.
Colonel Hamad Adeel Al Shamsi, Director of Traffic and patrols Department at ADP and Chairman of the Permanent Hajj and Umra Committee at the Ministry of Interior, said that this gesture represents the great attention that their Highnesses pay to the Ministry of Interior staff. All necessary administrative preparations to provide quality services to those staff have been finalized.
All those who on board of the aircraft expressed their appreciation and thanks to HH Sheikh Mohammad bin Zayed Al Nahyan for providing a special aircraft for Umra journey.
