A total of 167 police officers from Abu Dhabi Police different departments have been decorated with their new badges of rank so that they become motivated to do their best in the service of their nation.

Major-General Khalil Dawood Badran, director-general of Finance and Services, Abu Dhabi Police, has decorated 15 police officers from the Directorate- General with their new badges of rank. He congratulated them and conveyed to them the greetings of Lt. General HH Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior.

Director of Police operation, Major General Mohammed Al Awadhi Al Menhali, also decorated 115 police officers from human resources and operations departments their new ranks. He said decoration of officers with new ranks reflect the trust the leadership is placing on its people so that they show responsibility in discharging their duties.

Major-General Ahmed Nasser Al Raisi, director general of Central Operations of Abu Dhabi Police has also decorated 12 officers from the directorate general with their new ranks, urging newly promoted officers to exert more efforts.

In  the same context, Brigadier Dr. Salem Bu Dhufaira Al Ameri, director general of security and ports affairs at Abu Dhabi Police decorated 20 officers with their new ranks, praising the efficiency of the newly promoted officers.

Brigadier Mohammed Rashid Al Shamesi, director of Diwan department at Abu Dhabi police has also decorated 5 police officers with their new ranks, saying that newly promoted officers will put in their best to justify the confidence reposed in them.

Present at all of these decorations were a number of senior police officers from different departments of Abu Dhabi Police.
