1500 violations of crossing roads from undesignated spots
During the last ten days, traffic police registered 1500 offences against the pedestrians who crossed roads at undesignated spots, on internal roads of Abu Dhabi City. Lt. Colonel Mohammad Dhahi, Head of Traffic Control at the Capital Police Directorate, they would continue taking strict measures against pedestrians who do not adhere to correct road crossing rules on internal roads and highways. The campaigns would be in the mornings and at nights.
He urged pedestrians to comply with correct crossing rules. Children should not be allowed to cross the roads alone or under the care of maids.
