15 groups of ambulance crews deployed
 where FIFA Club World Cup - 2010 matches are played

 

ADP GHQ Section of Emergency and Public Safety participates in the security of FIFA Club World Cup activities, by providing four ambulance vehicles for each match, advanced and well equipped vehicle for VIPs, on foot paramedics divided into 15 groups are deployed at stadium terraces.

Colonel Mohammad Abdullah Al Nuaimi, Director of Emergency and Public Safety Department said “All concerned authorities in ADP cooperate with each other in achieving the aim of the theme (ADP…One Team…One Goal…Your Safety). It is important to intensify efforts to enhance security and to ensure the safety of sports fans”.

The Department of Emergency and Public Safety has allocated 5 ambulance vehicles (Golf type cars), 5 bicycles to provide emergency services inside and outside playing field and a 8-paramedic team is assigned to transfer injured players during matches, in accordance with latest global standards.

“The task of Ambulance Section of the Department of Emergency and Public Safety is the second in terms of participation on sports activity of this size after the successful participation last year. FIFA has lauded the efforts made by the Department”, added Al Nuaimi.
