"Police Friends" acquaint themselves with Crime Scene Tasks

 

A delegation from Police Friends group from Abu Dhabi Center for disabled="disabled" Care and Rehabilitation, Al Batteen Model School and Horizons Girls Model School visited ADP Crime Scene Department at Abu Dhabi Police College on Monday.

The delegation toured the Section of the Crime Scene. They were briefed on the tasks, tools in use by the Crime Scene Team. They also learnt about how protect the crime scene from contamination to assist in arresting the criminals and detecting the crime in a short time.

Captain Hussain Humaid al Jineibi, Head of Support Service Affairs considers the initiative of police friends group launched by ADP is a quantum leap forward in childhood care, for both disabled="disabled" and healthy children.

He also said 'The Department of Crime Scene is a newly introduced Department in ADP GHQ. He appreciates the children visit to the Department and that it give them opportunity to acquaint themselves with tasks and duties of the Crime Scene Team".

The children listened to an explanation about the work of the Crime Scene through a cartoon animation tape. They toured the section of the tools used by the crime scene team. They also visited the well-equipped support vehicle of the crime scene team, fingerprint section and how fingerprints are recovered.

At the end of the visit Captain Al Jeneibi gave away mementos to the visiting children.
