“Color your road” a new kids illustrated book published by “Law Respect Culture Bureau”

Within the celebration of the 27th GCC Traffic Week themed “together to reduce traffic accidents”, the Law Respect Culture Bureau affiliated with the Secretariat General of HH the Ministry of Interior’s Office published an illustrated kids’ book titled “color your road”.

The book includes some traffic tips and concepts presented in a simplified way which suits the kids’ level of knowledge.
According to Lt. Colonel Dr. Salah Al Ghoul, director of the Law Respect Culture Bureau, the booklet was published mainly to implant traffic culture into kids in an entertaining way. The book contained important traffic information such as traffic signs, crossing the road at designated areas and respecting traffic lights.

He said the ministry of interior is working hard to reduce traffic accidents as result of which many people lose their lives or become disabled, annually. To achieve this goal, the ministry seeks to update the traffic laws and legislations, use the latest awareness methods, and create a solid belief among individuals that these laws have been made for their safety, not merely tools for punishment

“Coordination was made with the Emirates Heritage Club to distribute the book to the visitors of the summer clubs”, added Al Ghoul.
