“All phone calls and messages related to security, society and traffic received by the Abu Dhabi Police will be treated with top confidentiality and be referred to the competent bodies of police departments and stations,” said Lieutenant Colonel Saeed Al Khajah, Deputy Director of Security Media at the General Secretariat of the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior.

The police will follow up the information and take necessary actions, he said, adding that such information help the police in preventing crimes and to arrest the perpetrators.

Al Khajah explained that the Aman service is designed to boost the confidence of the society on the performance of the law enforcement authority.
The call is part of the Abu Dhabi Police media campaign on warning about the risks of fireworks.

Aman service, delivered 24/7 both in Arabic and English, is intended to open direct communication channels with the customers of Abu Dhabi Police, thus contributing to preventing the society from crimes, stated Al Khajah.

Al Khajah lauded the cooperation of mass media with the goals of the awareness campaign, and urged the public to report those who use and sell fireworks or give out any other information round the clock.
