"Al Ain Residency" and "Labor" coordinate entry permits
and sponsorship transfer
Lt. Colonel Saeed Salim Shaheen Al Shamsi, Director of Al Ain Department of Residency and Foreigners Affairs has held a meeting with a delegation from the labor Office of the Ministry of Labor in Al Ain, Headed by Hamad Saif Al Nuaimi, Director of the Office.
The meeting has discussed coordination of controls regarding the issue of entry permits and transfer of sponsorship duration after approval of transfer application by the Labor Office. They have also discussed the mechanism for dealing with persons whose residence permit is cancelled by the Labor Office but delay its cancellation by the Department of Residency and Foreigners Affairs.
The meeting comes within the framework of enhancement of joint cooperation between both sides with a view to develop services and raise efficiency so as to achieve the desired aims.
"The meeting affirms Al Ain Residency Department principle of permanent consultation and coordination with strategic partners in order to serve higher interests of the community, its members and institutions. The mechanisms are reviewed from time to time to comply with labor market procedures. It also enhances the Department vision of importance of joint work with different government ministries and departments so as to develop the delivered services.
The meeting was attended by Saleh Hireiz, Head of Labor Relations Section, Mohammad Salim Al Alawi, Head of Establishments Section, Nasser Al Yihyai, Chairman of Work Permits Committee and Heads of Sections at the Department.
