“Al Madina” wins Special Tasks Tournament in Al Ain
Al Madina Police Station Team was announced, on Sunday, champion of the 6th Ramadan Football Tournament, organized by the Special Tasks Section in Al Ain, when defeated Al Ain Police Directorate 1-0.
The closing ceremony was attended by Lt. Colonel (S) Ahmed Ali Thani Al Shuhi, Head of Special Tasks Section and Chairman of Events and Occasions at Al Ain Police Directorate. The final match was run by the referees: International Referee Sultan Mohammad Al Nuaimi and Assistant Referee Saeed Salim Al Breiki.
The Tournament included tug-of-war competition, where the Palaces Guard Team came first and Explosives Team came second. Player Ahmed Abdul Rahman, from Al Madina Police Station won the prize of Tournament Top Scorer.
Player Hamad Ali Al Shamsi, from Explosives Team won the prize of Best Player, and Rashid Saeed from Al Ain Police Directorate won the prize of best Goal Keeper.
The sponsor of the event honored the referees, Industrial Area Police Station Team who won the third place, Al Ain Police Directorate Team who came second and Al Madina Police Station Team for winning the first place.
The ceremony was attended by Major Abdul Rahman Al Halaf, Director of Tournament, Major Mohammad Hamdan Al Mandhari, Director of Operations Affairs at Al Madina Police Station, officers, NCOs and personnel from Special Tasks Section and fans.
