Workshop at ADP to implement “Technological Resources” and
Knowledge Management Approaches
Abu Dhabi Police has affirmed that the implementation of Technological Resources and knowledge Management Approaches will enhance the increase of its personnel efficiency, to improve the quality of services to the public.
ADP has organized recently two workshops on Knowledge Management Approach and Technological Resources management Approach, for the directors and Heads of 18 Departments, in addition to MoI Social Support Centers Department.
Lt. Colonel Mohammad Al Zaabi, from Training Department said ‘The Technological Resources Management Approach aims at streamlining the process of knowledge exchange between employees and customers at different ADP GHQ Departments. It also enables the use of knowledge in solving work requirements, increasing employees’ productivity through development of skills and expertise of the human cadre and ideal use of financial, human, administrative and technical resources”.
The Knowledge management Approach aims at documentation of knowledge management process at highest levels. The Knowledge Management Section at ADP GHQ will manage, implement and establish knowledge framework to mange knowledge. It will also identify the types of knowledge in ADP. The Approach aims at supporting the security administrative thought among employees on one hand, and among organizational and security Units on the other hand”, added Al Zaabi.
Lt. Colonel Adel Al Hosani, from F7 Department has indicted the importance of such workshops in police elements training in how to deal with knowledge and modern technologies.
