Western Region Police concludes its Ramadan Football Tournament
The Western region Police Directorate concluded its 3rd Ramadan Football Tournament, on Wednesday.
Colonel Hamad Saeed bin Tarees Al Dhahri, Director of the Directorate lauded the great efforts made by the tournament organizers and its success. The aims of such sports events are to raise morale, physical fitness and ties among police personnel.
The Tournament witnessed competition between teams from police departments, companies and sports agencies in the Western Region. The final match was played by the Finance and Services Section Team and Special Tasks Section team. The Special tasks Team won the match by penalty kicks.
Lt. Colonel Obeid Khalfan Al Mazroui, Acting Deputy Director for Administrative and Financial Affairs, distributed trophies and prizes to the winning teams.
He also honored the members of the organizing committee and group of referees.
