The Police Attaché Office at the UAE embassy in the United Kingdom met the new scholarship students for the academic year 2012/2013.
Mr. Mohamed Ahmed Al-Breiki, Police Attaché, welcomed the new students in his office, at the UAE embassy in London, and gave them an overview on the guidelines and basic information regarding their studies, according to the directives of Abu Dhabi Police General Command. He also acquainted them with the housing, immigration and medical treatment systems in Great Britain, urging them to continuously communicate with the Police Attaché.
Al-Breiki also met in his office, a number of students who are still pursuing their studies, at the beginning of the new academic year. The meeting tackled their academic situation, and means to overcome the obstacles faced by some of these students. Al-Breiki instructed the academic supervisors at the Attaché to communicate with universities and language institutes, in order to provide students with the best-in-class services.
Police attaché at the UAE embassy in London also met with some patients who were sent for treatment in the United Kingdom and their families. He discussed ways to provide the necessary treatment, support and services to them, particularly with respect to booking hospitals, and providing housing and transport.
The meeting with the new scholarship students was attended by Ahmed Awad Sultan Al Shamsi, Police Attaché Assistant; who urged the students to academic perseverance and commitment, and wished them success in their academic and scientific careers.
These meetings come in line with the relentless strive of the Police Attaché to communicate with Abu Dhabi Police and the Ministry of Interior’s scholarship students, who study in the United Kingdom.
