Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior General HH Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, has approved a mechanism to support projects of the Khalifa Fund for Entrepreneurship, and give them priority in the implementation of the works in the Abu Dhabi Police GHQ, and exempting them from the registration and tender submission fees as well as other administrative fees.
Major General Khalil Dawood Badran, Director General of Finance and Services of the Abu Dhabi Police, said that the initiative of the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior, include support for the Khalifa Fund small and medium enterprises and was created to motivate young people to join the Fund's enterprises, to engage in projects of their own, and to strengthen the role of partnerships with civil society institutions.
Major General Badran said, this initiative includes promoting national projects supported by the "Khalifa Fund", and contribute to developing them, and assigning some of Abu Dhabi Police projects to these companies to implement. It also contributes to encouraging increase of business among the UAE nationals by entering into contracts to promote and market their products and facilitate passing of financial claims due to these companies after the completion of the required work.
The Director General of Finance and services in the Abu Dhabi Police noted that the goal of the initiative is to increase contracts and dealings with the companies affiliated with the Khalifa Fund enterprises, according to the applications submitted at the General Command of Abu Dhabi Police.
He stated these companies will be invited to attend meetings of suppliers and strategic partners of Abu Dhabi Police, in order to motivate them to develop their businesses and meet with senior suppliers.
