Saaed to launch traffic awareness competition during Ramadan
Saaed for Traffic Systems will launch a traffic awareness quiz during the Holy Month of Ramadan online. The quiz consists of 30 questions about the cases in which the road shoulder is used. The Company has allocated cash prizes for the winners who will be selected="true" by drawing lots.
The quiz has been announced by Colonel (Engineer) Hussain Ahmed Al Harthi, Director of ADP Department of Traffic and Patrols and Chairman of Saaed Board of Directors. The questions target those who surf Saaed web site. They focus on negative aspects of driving on road shoulder, emergencies that permit parking on the road shoulder and the necessity of parking vehicles involved in minor traffic accidents.
Awareness Brochures will be distributed to drivers whose vehicle involved in minor accidents or damaged due to minor accidents in coincidence with launch of the quiz. The brochures urge drovers to remove their vehicles from the road to the road shoulder until the arrival of Saaed Patrols for necessary action, without impeding the traffic flow.
As regards participation in the quiz Colonel Al Harthi said "Participation in the competition is very easy and simple. All internet bloggers can participate through the Company web site (www.saaed.ae). The winners' names will be announced through drawing lots after they have been sorted out by the Public Relations and Customer Service Section at Saaed Company".
