Open new page and quit smoking
Under the theme “it is Ramadan, open a new page and quit smoking”, the General Directorate of Residency and Expatriates Affairs organized an awareness campaign targeting its staff members.
The campaign focused on educating the employees about the harms of smoking and the best methods to quit it, and taking Ramadan’s chance to quit smoking.
The campaign included distribution of awareness pamphlets and brochures to the employees and customers alike.
Colonel Saeed Salim Al Shamesi, director general of Residency and Expatriates Affairs in Abu Dhabi Police stressed that this campaign is part of the strategy of the General Directorate which aims to familiarize the employees with the negative and harmful effects of smoking on the human’s live and environment, and to raise health education among them.
