A delegation from the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Community Development was introduced to the Human Resources systems and its work methods in the Ministry of Interior.
Brigadier Ali Mohammed bin Darwish, Director General of Human Resources, met the delegation of the Ministry of Culture headed by Hoda Al Marshoudy, Director of Human Resources Department. Brigadier Darwish shed light on the Human Resources Department general strategy for 2011-2013 during the meeting, which is derived from the strategy of the Ministry of Interior and the General Headquarters initiatives. He stressed on the importance of the exchange of experiences and field visits with other entities in the UAE.
Attendants were briefed on the organizational structure of the Human Resources General Department with regard to its management and different departments. The delegation took notes on the missions, aims and obligations, as well as the work methods, mechanisms and the job performance appraisal system of these directorates and departments.
The delegation of the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Community Development expressed admiration for the Ministry of Interior’s efforts to expand the culture of quality to all its members in various parts of the country, and its keenness to promote their abilities, creative potentials, and talents.
The participants congratulated the team of the "Standard and Results of Human Resources” for receiving the UAE Excellence Award for the Distinguished Governmental Performance in 2012. Commemorative shields were exchanged between the two sides on the occasion of the visit.
Directors of Departments of Employees’ Performance Evaluation and Training; Human Resources Planning and Employees’ Affairs and Selection and Appointment; and the Head of Strategy and Performance Development Division at the Human Resources General Department also attended the meeting, as well as the Deputy Director of the Human Resources Department, and a number of heads of departments and experts in the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Community Development.
