The Police College launched a series of lectures for a number of police GHQs, as part of the cultural week for students of the 23rd batch of recruits and university degree holders and the seventh batch of female university degree holders, who will be graduating in February 2013.
In the lecture he delivered at Union Hall at the Police College, Major General Nasser Lakhrebani Al Nuaimi, Secretary General of the Office of Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, Chairman of the Police College, underscored the importance of graduating competent police officers. He also reviewed real stories drawn from the practical community life.
He called on police recruits and graduates to draw lessons from their peers; highlighting the importance of time and investing money, as well as the importance of respecting others, particularly women, who represent the second half of society, whether at work or at home.
Moreover, he stressed the interaction between the scientific and practical positive aspects in professional life, since the scientific aspects constitute the basics of work methods applications and development. He noted the importance of acquiring knowledge and constantly keeping pace with the latest developments and modern changes in the various fields of science, which enhance skills and efficiency.
The lecture was attended by Brigadier General Abdul Rahman Al Naqbi, General Supervisor of Military Training at the Ministry of Interior; Colonel Saif Ali Al Kutobi, Police College Director; heads of departments and chiefs of sections, along with officers from the Police College and the Officers Training Institute; lecturers, supervisors and trainers.
