The Capital Police Directorate of the General Directorate of Policing Operations in coordination with the Medical Service Department organized an educational lecture under the title “Swine Influenza, Ways of Infection and Prevention”.
The lecture was delivered by Dr. Mohammad Adel Ibrahim, Specialist of Aviation Medicine and medicine at Air Wing Department.
The lecturer presented historical information about the disease and that it was a viral disease caused by H1N1 virus, how the disease is spread among humans and the nature of its symptoms, the medicines that could treat infected people. The lecture received wide appreciation from the audience.
