In response to the initiative of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, to plant and nurture the Union Tree on the occasion of the 41st National Day celebrations, the Juveniles Care Center at the Abu Dhabi Police GHQ planted 41 palm trees.

Brigadier Ahmed Mohammed Nukhairah Al Mahrami, Chairman of the Juveniles Care Center Special Committee, said: “The planting of those palm seedlings comes under the slogan: “The Union Spirit” where the juveniles and the center’s staff participated together to celebrate the National Day of the country. The 2nd of December is a great day for the history of the UAE people and brings forth the values of loyalty, gratitude, and belonging to the leadership of this country.”

Al Mahrami announced the launch of a Mini Cultural Village benefitting the juveniles and staff members at the center and reflects the original cultural features of the United Arab Emirates.

Brigadier Al Mahrami hailed the cooperation of the date company, Al Foah Co., with the center. Ripe dates were distributed during the activities organized by the center, which were produced at the Juveniles Care Center, to the participants and visitors.

The center will continue its celebratory program for the National Day over the coming days. This program aims to implant the homeland’s values of belonging and empower the path of progress and development that the country is witnessing in all fields.
