Effective November27, The Ministry of interior organizes various shows and events as part of the ministry of interior’ village 2011, marking the 40th anniversary of the UAE National Day.
The five day event is held under the patronage of Lt. General H.H Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minster and Minster of Interior at the old airport park near the Zayed sports city.
The aim of holding this village is keep close interaction with all society members and enlighten them about the services offered by various departments of the ministry of interior, said head of the coordinative committee of MoI events, Colonel Hussein Al Awadhi, who is also in charge of the village.
The Village contains a lot of interesting activities and shows which are presented for the first time, such as display of the world’s largest logo (UAE logo), holding of sports competitions, free drawing, horse riding and shooting, etc,
