Brigadier Saeed Salim Al Henki, Director General of Finance and Support Services, Ministry of Interior attended the graduation of the 65th Basic Training Course for police recruits, with the participation of 86 students.
The ceremony was held at the Federal Police School. Brigadier Al Henki stressed that the UAE is a security and stability haven for citizens and residents alike, thanks to the support rendered by the higher leadership to police and security agencies. Furthermore, he urged the graduates to exert further efforts and work diligently so as to enhance security performance and improve police services provided to the public.
For his part, Brigadier Ahmed Abdullah Al Hajri, Director of the Federal Police School indicated that this graduation embodies the Ministry of Interior’s keenness to support its human cadres with qualified personnel, who are properly trained in accordance with the latest security programs and systems adopted in police work.
During the 21-week course, the participants attended lectures on police and legal sciences, administrative sciences and supporting subjects. They also took part in field training in infantry, archery, sports, police operations and weapons.
Brigadier Al Henki, accompanied by Brigadier Al Hajri, distributed prizes to top achievers, in presence of Colonel Dr. Jassim Mohammed Al Bakr, Deputy Director of the School. Recruit Mohammed Abdullah Saeed Al Shaiba, ranked first in the overall total, and achieved first place in theory and in weaponry. Recruit Ibrahim Ali Abdullah Al Yamahi ranked first in training and in sports. Police officer Maktoum Ahmed Rashid Al Ka’bi ranked first in infantry, recruit Abdullah Ali Abdullah Al Nuaimi ranked first in shooting, and recruit Omar Abdul Karim Hassan Al Hashimi ranked first in leadership skills.
