A delegation from the Dubai Police Academy reviewed the training programs, facilities, and training activities at the Federal Crime Scene Village Section in Ajman, affiliated with the Federal Crime Scene Department at the MOI’s General Directorate of Criminal Police. This visit   is part of the cooperation and exchange of experiences taking place between the various police entities.

The delegation was headed by Colonel Dr. Ghanem Al Suwaidi, Director of Legal and Police Applications and accompanied by Lt. Colonel Dr. Tariq Al Hashimi, Head of Criminal Applications.  The delegation members were acquainted with the role of the crime scene examiners team in addressing accidents and responding to notifications, as well as the technical support provided by the Federal Crime Scene Department to the various crime scene sections in the Northern Emirates.

The delegation was greeted upon arrival by Captain Ali Abdulwahab Al Hammadi, Chief of the Support and Regional Formations Section and captain Mohammad Abdul Karim, Training Affairs Branch Manager. The officers gave the delegation an overview of the training systems and curricula, as well as the program that was organized in collaboration with the Scottish Police, qualifying police personnel to obtain a training diploma in Crime Scene Forensic Investigation.

It is noteworthy that the meeting was attended by a number of Crime Scene officers from the Dubai Police GHQ.

At the end of the tour, Colonel Al Suwaidi expressed his thanks to the Federal Crime Scene Department and staff; praising their prominent role and remarkable progress. He also praised the development efforts and continuous improvement that aim to improve police and security performance, wishing them further progress and success. Concluding, both parties exchanged commemorative shields to mark this visit.
